Mô tả công việc

  • Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers that meet technical specifications, quality standards, and cost requirements.
  • Work directly with R&D engineers and suppliers to accelerate product development, ensuring timelines and quality standards are met.
  • Take ownership of the product development process for new products, managing from initial idea through to market release.
  • Manage and take responsibility for product cost, consistently seeking opportunities to reduce costs without compromising quality.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with current and potential suppliers.
  • Negotiate contracts, payment terms, and favorable conditions with suppliers to optimize costs and collaboration.
  • Monitor and evaluate supplier performance; stay updated on market trends and industry developments to recommend sourcing strategies.
  • Report regularly to Sourcing manager & department management on sourcing activities and issues.

Yêu cầu

  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain and logistics or a related field is preferred. Open to engineers interested in working with suppliers.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to think quickly and effectively handle ad hoc challenges.
  • Intelligent and creative thinker with “out-of-the-box” mindset to drive innovative sourcing solutions.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office; knowledge of sourcing or ERP software is a plus.
