Production Merchandiser (English Required) (With Sign-On Bonus)

Position overview:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Production Merchandiser to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing various aspects of the production process, from planning to inspection, while directly engaging with suppliers and vendor factories. The role entails effective communication and coordination with multiple departments, including sourcing and purchasing, accounts, production, and shipping. The Production Merchandiser will play a crucial role in ensuring seamless operations and timely delivery of high-quality products to our customers by fostering strong relationships with suppliers and overseeing production activities closely.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

Production Planning

• Develop and implement production plans to meet our sale demands and deadlines
• Maintain a detailed record of each production request, including specifications, deadlines, and any special requirements
• Oversee yarn purchasing, knitting, dyeing, printing, sampling, production processes, and inspection
• Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely delivery of raw materials and components
• Monitor and track the progress of production programs and take necessary actions to address any issues or delays
• Coordinate with relevant departments to address any issues or delays that may arise during the production process

Monitoring Payment Requests

• Keep track of payment requests related to production activities, including raw materials procurement, manufacturing services, and logistics
• Ensure that payment requests are submitted accurately and in a timely manner, adhering to established payment schedules and protocols
• Communicate with account and finance departments to verify the status of payment requests and resolve any discrepancies or issues promptly

Production Management

• Oversee sampling, production processes, and inspection
• Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely delivery of raw materials and components
• Monitor and track the progress of production programs and take necessary actions to address any issues or delays

Documentation and Reporting

• Maintain accurate records of production activities, including orders, schedules, and inventory
• Generate reports on production metrics, performance, and quality for management review

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

• Bachelor degree in business, Supply Chain, ...
• +3 years experience in sourcing/procurement with Chinese partners
• Experienced in working directly with factory in apparels industry
• Have background and knowledge in Chinese culture
• Fluent in Chinese/English
• Superior communication and negotiation skills
• Proven success in securing favorable contracts
• Being detail-oriented
