Livestream Production Lead

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES (SCOPE OF WORK)

Service Development and Sales Offering

Package Development: Research the market and competitors to propose unique, competitive livestream services that meet the diverse needs of internal and external customers.

Product Package Definition: Develop comprehensive livestream production packages ranging from basic (quick setup) to professional (events, talk shows, e-commerce, entertainment), including detailed costing, resource requirements, and deployment processes.

Process Establishment: Establish standardized, clear, and performance-optimized production workflows (pre-production, live, post-production) to ensure consistency and quality for every livestream session.

Studio and Asset Management

Studio Setup: Plan, propose budgets for, and directly oversee the design, construction, and equipping of the livestream studio (including lighting, sound, staging, and control systems).

Equipment Management: Manage, maintain, and propose upgrades for all production equipment (cameras, switchers, streaming devices, microphones, lighting) to ensure it is always in optimal condition and operating reliably.

Technology Development: Research and implement new livestream technologies (VR, AR, multi-channel interactivity) to enhance viewer experience and production value.

Vendor and Partner Management

Sourcing & Evaluation: Build and maintain a roster of production service providers (production vendors), professional host/MC teams (host vendors), and other event service providers, while continuously evaluating their capabilities.

Contract Negotiation: Negotiate terms, costs, and finalize contracts with vendors to secure the best-quality services at optimal cost.

Performance Management: Monitor, evaluate, and maintain strategic relationships with all vendors to ensure adherence to timelines, quality standards, and service scalability.

Production Operations & Quality Assurance

Project Oversight: Supervise the end-to-end execution of livestream projects, from conceptualization and script preparation (in collaboration with the content team) through technical setup, rehearsals, to the official broadcast.

Technical Direction: Ensure the entire technical system operates smoothly and resolve any issues immediately during broadcast to prevent interruptions.

- Quality Assurance (QA/QC): Serve as the final point of responsibility for image, sound, and overall broadcast quality.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Experience and Knowledge

Minimum 3 years of experience in TV commercial production, events, television, or professional livestreaming, with at least 1–2 years in a management or team-lead role.

In-depth understanding of livestream platforms (Facebook, YouTube, TikTok, custom platforms) and related technical standards (resolution, bitrate, latency, video encoding).

Proficiency in operating livestream production equipment and software (vMix, OBS, TriCaster, ATEM switchers).

Skills and Mindset

Leadership and Team Management: Proven ability to build, train, and lead technical production teams.

Project and Budget Management: Strong planning, project tracking, and budget control skills.

Business Acumen: Clear understanding of how to package and commercialize production services into attractive, high-value offerings.

Negotiation and Communication Skills: Excellent at collaborating with and managing external partners (vendors, hosts, agencies).
