Legal Manager (Career Path CLO)

1. Legal Strategy & Risk Management

• Design and implement a comprehensive legal strategy aligned with Hyra’s growth roadmap and innovation initiatives.
• Serve as the chief legal advisor to senior leadership on complex business and regulatory matters.
• Identify, assess, and manage legal risks across investment, technology, and international operations.

2. Leadership & Legal Team Management

• Lead and mentor the legal function, managing the performance and development of specialized legal teams in VC, Web3, and Corporate Affairs.
• Establish internal legal protocols, training systems, and performance metrics for legal operations.
• Foster a collaborative, ethical, and business-enabling legal culture within the company.

3. Corporate Governance & Compliance

• Oversee corporate governance practices and ensure full legal compliance across the jurisdictions of operation.
• Maintain up-to-date internal policies, contract management systems, and compliance frameworks.
• Ensure legal and regulatory alignment with bodies such as MAS (Singapore), SEC (USA), and VARA (UAE).

4. Support for Investment & Technology Initiatives

• Provide legal support and strategic guidance for venture funding, capital raising, and M&A activities.
• Advise on Web3-related legal issues, including tokenization, blockchain, DAO governance, and digital asset compliance.
• Ensure all token projects, STOs, and technology ventures adhere to international laws and industry best practices.

Education

• LL.B., J.D., or equivalent degree in Law; a Master’s in International Law, Commercial Law, or Technology Law is highly preferred.

Experience

• Minimum 6-8 years of legal experience, including at least 4 years in a senior legal leadership role within a multinational, VC, or tech-driven environment.
• Proven track record in cross-border legal advisory, international compliance, and managing high-stakes legal teams.
  
  

Expertise

• Deep understanding of corporate law, investment law, financial regulations, and Web3 legal frameworks.
• Hands-on experience working with regulators and navigating multi-jurisdictional legal landscapes (e.g. Singapore, UAE, U.S.).
• Strong knowledge in M&A, fundraising, corporate governance, IP law, AML/CFT, and data protection.

Skills

• Executive-level leadership and team-building capabilities.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and negotiation skills.
• Fluent in English (legal and business); proficiency in Vietnamese is a plus.
• Strategic thinker with the ability to operate in both advisory and execution modes.
