JOB OVERVIEW

• As a Solution Architect, the individual will lead the design and implementation of system architecture for Hospital Information Systems (HIS). This role involves overseeing integration strategies, ensuring interoperability across healthcare platforms, and providing technical leadership in healthcare IT projects. The architect will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, secure, and compliant solutions tailored to hospital environments.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Design end-to-end system architecture for Hospital Information Systems (HIS) using .NET, MSSQL Server, and modern web frameworks.

• Lead HIS integration efforts including clinical and financial systems, PACS, and third-party healthcare modules.

• Ensure system architecture supports scalability, performance, and compliance with healthcare standards such as HL7 and FHIR.

• Define and implement microservices and API-driven architectures using technologies like Kafka and Iceberg.

• Develop integration strategies using HL7 interface engines (e.g., Iguana, Rhapsody, Mirth Connect).

• Collaborate with DevOps teams to implement CI/CD pipelines and automate infrastructure deployment.

• Provide technical leadership and guidance across healthcare IT projects, ensuring alignment with hospital workflows and operational goals.

• 7+ years of experience in solution architecture and healthcare IT systems.

• Proven experience with HIS platforms and integration of hospital systems.

• Strong knowledge of HL7, FHIR, and healthcare interoperability standards.

• Experience with cloud-native technologies and microservices architecture.

• Excellent communication and leadership skills in cross-functional environments.
