Tech Pack Creation & Process Improvement

• Create detailed, production-ready tech packs for designated apparel, ensuring accuracy in proportions, stitch details, construction notes, material items and grading, etc.
• Ensure tech packs align with original design intent and are structured for easy interpretation by manufacturers and suppliers.
• Utilize expertise in garment construction and trim functionality to ensure high-quality product execution.
• Collaborate with sourcing specialists, technical designers, and manufacturers to refine product specifications and ensure seamless development.
• Stay up to date with innovations in materials, construction techniques, and industry trends to enhance working process, product performance, comfort, and aesthetics.

Sample Production & Evaluation

• Review and update all tech pack details before moving to the sampling stage to minimize errors in production.
• Review product fitting and provide clear and actionable feedback regarding measurement, construction quality, and overall workmanship.
• Support production team to troubleshoot technical challenges and ensure the final product meets quality standards and aesthetic goals.

Collaboration & Communication

• Manage multiple design projects at the same time, ensuring timely delivery under tight timelines and quality standards.
• Work closely with the product development team to conceptualize and refine new designs.
• Review and evaluate 3D designs for accuracy and quality, providing feedback for necessary revisions.

• Required
• Specialized knowledge of BRA/PANTS products, including design principles, fit, and functionality.
• Engineer’s/Bachelor’s/Associate degree in Textile & Garment Technology, Technical Design, Fashion Design or a related field.
• At least 3 years of proven experience as a Technical Designer, Tech Pack Designer, or Fashion Designer with a robust portfolio showcasing past products’ tech packs. Candidates should have at least 1.5 year specific experience with bra/pants products.
• Ability to visualize full garment designs and identify potential risks.
• In-depth knowledge of Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.
• Excellent visualization skills, with a keen eye for detail, color coordination, and style trends.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills & ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing design requirements.

• Strong English communication skills.

Preferred

• Advanced skills in other design software.
• Knowledge of 3D fitting and basic knowledge of pattern making/reviewing.
