Architecture Design Management Manager

1. Design Brief and Consultant Selection

• Assist Development Director and coordinate with other project team members to source, evaluate for design consultant selection and appointment process;
• Prepare and finalize project design brief and specifications in cooperation with other project team members;

2. Design Management

• Drive whole design management process from concept design to completion to ensure the final design is aligned with the business direction, meeting all legal requirements and project’s goals;
• Manager and supervise consultants to ensure the design documents are completed on time, in line with the project’s goals and approved master plan at reasonable cost;
• Coordination with local authority for appraising / approving the project designs; Monitor and report of the progress of design work on projects;
• Chair design meeting with design consultants and coordinate with all the consultants related to design works;
• Provide technical support or advice to the project QS or Project Manager in the preparation of tender documents and actively participate tender meetings as required;
• Conduct regular site walk through and resolve design issues arise during construction;
• Ensure the successful completion and handover of projects and contract obligations are carried accordingly in a timely manner;

3. Others

• Train and coach junior team members in design management skills;
• Perform other relevant duties as required;
• Follow and implement the Environmental Management System (ISO 14001) and the Environment, Health and Safety Management System of the Company.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture from the reputable universities;
• Minimum 3 years experienced with same position/responsibilities handling projects from concept to completion for high end residential & hospitality property development in Vietnam on Developer’s side;
• Sound knowledge in design trends and building design materials;
• Must be able to speak and write in English/Vietnamese to be able to communicate both to foreign and local consultants/contractors;
• Good presentation and communication skills
• Highly self-motivated and self-driven manner with strong business acumen;
• Resourcefulness with good interpersonal skills and problem-solving abilities;
• Ability to work well under great pressure and adaptability to quick changes;
• Ability to work in cross departments;
