About the Role

Misen is seeking a Video Editor & Script Writer with 1–2 years of experience to produce engaging, high‐performing video content for our e‐commerce brands. This role requires both technical editing skills and creative storytelling abilities to deliver short‐form and long‐form videos that drive conversions and brand growth.

You will work closely with our creative and marketing teams to turn concepts into persuasive scripts and polished videos optimized for platforms like Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and our online stores.

What You’ll Do

• Write scripts for product videos, advertising creatives, and social media campaigns that align with brand voice and marketing objectives.
• Edit and produce videos for multi‐channel distribution, ensuring they are visually compelling, on‐brand, and optimized for performance.
• Select music, sound effects, and graphics to enhance storytelling and viewer engagement.
• Collaborate with Marketing, Creative, and Performance teams to align content with campaign goals.
• Optimize video pacing, structure, and length to maximize watch time and conversion rates.
• Keep up‐to‐date with video trends, platform best practices, and editing techniques.
• Maintain an organized asset library and ensure project files are well‐structured for collaboration.

• Bachelor’s degree in Media, Film, Communications, Marketing, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
• 1–2 years of professional experience in video editing and/or scriptwriting for marketing.
• Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro/CapCut and familiarity with After Effects (bonus: Photoshop, Illustrator).
• Strong storytelling skills and ability to write clear, persuasive, and engaging scripts in English.
• Understanding of social media video formats and ad requirements.
• Creativity, attention to detail, and ability to work in a fast‐paced environment.
• Portfolio showcasing video editing and scriptwriting work.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in e‐commerce or digital marketing video production.
• Knowledge of motion graphics and animation basics.
• Familiarity with TikTok trends, YouTube optimization, and Facebook Ads video standards.
