Job Description

Position: Technical Project Manager

Position Type: Full-time

Working Location: 1 Ton That Tung, Di An, Ho Chi Minh (formerly Binh Duong Province)

Working Hours: 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM (Monday to Friday)

JOB DESCRIPTION

We are looking for a Technical Project Manager with a strong development background,

coding skills, and the ability to review code. A passion for researching and applying AI

technologies to products are highly valued. Key responsibilities include:

Project Management

  • Work directly with clients to gather requirements, create project plans, and manage project timelines.
  • Coordinate project activities across all phases: initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, and closure.
  • Ensure compliance with software development standards, addressing risks and issues to deliver high-quality results.
  • Monitor progress and ensure timely delivery of project milestones and deliverables.

Technical and Product Development

  • Review and ensure the quality of code from the development team.
  • Propose, experiment with, and implement AI-driven solutions to enhance product effectiveness and value.
  • Research and evaluate new technologies to continuously improve processes and product quality.

People Management

  • Manage team dynamics and proactively address staffing or morale challenges within assigned projects, ensuring stability, engagement, and project continuity through close collaboration with relevant stakeholders.
  • Foster a high-performance culture by providing regular feedback, supporting professional growth, and maintaining team motivation throughout project delivery.

Team Leadership and Collaboration

  • Lead, motivate, and monitor the development team’s productivity and morale.
  • Provide constructive feedback, mentorship, and technical guidance to the team.
  • Collaborate with both local and international teams to ensure alignment and delivery excellence.
  • Encourage open communication and cross-functional collaboration between departments.

Product and Process Management

  • Guide the team in designing processes, managing backlogs, and mitigating risks.
  • Apply modern development methodologies such as Agile and Scrum to optimize workflows and ensure project transparency.

Requirements

REQUIREMENTS

Must-Have

  • Minimum 3 years of experience leading software projects and 3 years of hands-on software development experience.
  • Solid understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and proven ability to manage Fixed-Price projects, including estimation, scope, and risk control.
  • Experience working with US-based clients is a strong advantage.
  • Innovation & Tech Integration: Skilled at applying AI technologies to optimize coding and development processes, and integrating large-scale or multi-platform systems (e.g., FinTech).
  • Product mindset: Focused on delivering scalable, high-value solutions; experience in project bidding is a plus.
  • Proficient in at least one programming language or framework (ReactJS, React Native, Java Spring, or NodeJS).
  • Strong code review and optimization, ensuring best practices and maintainable code.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.

Nice-to-Have

  • Scrum Master certification (CSM, PSM, or PSM II).
  • Experience with tools such as Jira and Confluence.
  • International experience of working with global clients.
  • Experience in production projects within the Fintech domain is a plus.
  • Knowledge of DevOps, XP, or LEAN methodologies.
  • Strong mentoring and coaching skills for junior team members.
