Taxation Specialist

The Taxation Specialist will report to the Finance & Accounting Manager at Lotte Duty Free Da Nang and will be responsible for the end-to-end management of all VAT processes. This includes overseeing invoice issuance, preparing monthly VAT declarations and refund applications, managing supplementary supporting materials, and acting as the main point of contact with tax authorities and external consultants for compliance matters.

• Issuing VAT invoices and managing the process of invoice issuance
• Working with e-invoice suppliers and headquarters IT regarding the POS system and the related appliances
• Declaring the invoice used and registering a new invoice before using it
• Reviewing monthly accounting documents and preparing supplementary supporting materials for taxation purposes
• Preparing monthly VAT declaration
• Working with the Tax Authorities for the monthly VAT refund
• Working with a Tax consultant assigned by the company for tax-related issues
• Providing suggestions and solutions for tax-related issues
• Other tasks assigned by the Line Manager

• Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting, or equivalent business certifications/ degrees;
• 4+ years of progressively responsible experience in a similar position for a major company or division of a large corporation or Auditing companies (prefer Big4 company)
• Deep knowledge of taxation
• Experience working with the tax authority
• Certificate of Tax Agency Practice preferred
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint
• Strong language skills in English
