Service & Application Engineer

• Contribute to increasing EDM machine sales and EDM service sales.

• Improve quality and speed of EDM after-sales service.

• Visit customers to provide EDM service and application service.

• EDM installation, operation training (including 2DCAM), repair, maintenance etc.

• Respond to customer inquiries regarding service and application.

• Sample machining in the showroom and creating reports.

• Visit customers with our sales team and explain details of EDM.

• Propose machine sales, repair, maintenance contract, parts sale, etc. to customers.

• Selection of parts, creation of quotations.

• Report discrepancies, unresolved or recurrent problems to Service Manager.

• Share information with other engineers to improve skills.

Other:

• Report to the Line Manager upon succession of any tasks accordingly.

• Other tasks assigned by Line Manager.

• Education: Graduated College or University (Major in Mechatronics / Electrical / Automation Engineering is preferable).

• At least 3 years of experience in CNC machine tools or EDM operation

• Experience in Machine repair and maintenance (EDM, CNC Machines, etc..)

Others/Skill Requirements:

• Must have electrical analysis skill and mechanical troubles-shooting skill

• Able to read machining drawings

• Able to have excellent communication with customers

• Able to speak conversational English ((A little Japanese is preferred)

• Willing to go business trip to HCM, Japan (Accordingly)
