Job Description
- Work together with software, system, project management and Hardware teams
- Perform EMC testing on Electronics components and console and a wide range of components and accessories, according to appropriate test standards/EMC directive.
- Define which standards are relevant for various projects, conduct and manage regulatory certification-related projects, and keep track of internal and external requirements.
- Maintain ownership of projects and report test results to internal stakeholders in a timely manner.
- Prepare the test plan, test instruction, test reports, testing timeline and stand up for the test results against internal and external customer.
- Provide input and recommendations to electrical and mechanical engineers during all project phases.
- Be responsible for writing reports updating EMC-related guidelines and working with suppliers to set EMC-related requirements in specifications and advise on technical issues.
- Be responsible for laboratory-related installation/maintenance/training.
Requirements
Required skills
- Engineering degree in Electrical/Electronics and/or at least 2-3 years of experience working in an EMC test house or in a relevant manufacturer's environment.
- Validates console hardware across design, power/electrical, functional, mechanical/environmental, compliance/safety with UL/IEC/EN (with ESD/EMC per EN 61000 series).
- Knowledge of EN and IEC standards, with understanding of and experience in how to address and fix EMC problems.
- Electrical testing according to relevant product standards, troubleshooting, and hands-on work with Electronics components, motor, console and installation.
- Ability to work and reach targets independently.
- Problem-solving mindset.
- Good written and verbal communication skills in English.
Preferred skills
- Certified electrician
- Knowledge in specific standards for Sport Equipment.
- Degree in physics or electronics.
