Job Description

1. Regulatory Management & Supervision

Supervise and guide team members or cross-functional partners in preparing, reviewing, and maintaining product regulatory documentation.

Coordinate with R&D, Marketing, QA, and MPO departments to ensure all labeling and regulatory requirements are properly implemented and updated for new or reformulated products.

Review and approve labeling content for accuracy, compliance, and consistency with product specifications and applicable regulations.

2. Product Compliance & Labeling Control

Lead the process of collecting, verifying, and updating product labeling information (new products, process changes, formulation updates, or new raw materials/additives).

Check label samples and packaging materials to ensure they match approved data and comply with target market regulations (domestic or export).

Monitor changes in regulations and proactively propose updates to maintain compliance.

3. Food Safety & Testing Coordination

Oversee the assessment and selection of food safety indicators and coordinate testing in line with national/international standards.

Ensure proper submission of product samples for testing and maintain comprehensive data records throughout the product development cycle.

Evaluate compliance of additives and raw materials and consolidate data from internal testing and R&D reports.

4. Product Declaration & Documentation Management

Manage the preparation, submission, and storage of product declaration dossiers according to government and company requirements.

Review and approve proposed product declaration ranges based on product quality and analytical data.

Maintain and update the regulatory database, inspection reports, and legal documentation to ensure readiness for audits and inspections.

5. Cross-functional Collaboration & Compliance Improvement

Act as the key contact for internal and external stakeholders on regulatory matters.

Provide training and guidance on food labeling, regulatory updates, and compliance best practices.

Support audit preparation and participate in regulatory inspections when required.

Requirements

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Food Technology, Chemistry, Biology, or a related discipline.

Experience: Minimum 2–4 years of relevant experience in food regulatory affairs, labeling management, or product compliance (experience with export markets is an advantage).

Technical Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of food labeling and product registration regulations (Vietnam and/or export countries).
  • Familiar with testing procedures and food safety standards.
  • Proficient in MS Office and document management systems.
  • Good English communication in regulatory or R&D context.
