Overview
Job Description
- Lead and manage daily operations of the Central Kitchen, ensuring production schedules are met for all outlets.
- Supervise and support two production teams (Bakery & Pastry), driving performance, motivation, and professional development.
- Monitor and manage KPIs: cost control, waste management, product consistency, and process efficiency.
- Implement and maintain strict quality control and food safety standards.
- Develop and optimize workflows, production planning, and resource allocation to ensure efficiency and minimize waste.
- Collaborate with Operations, R&D, and Supply Chain teams on product launches, recipe standardization, and scaling.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and reduce costs.
- Provide data-driven reports and insights to senior management for strategic decision-making.
- Work mainly during office hours (9am–6pm) with flexibility to adapt when required (early morning/late shifts during peak or urgent production needs).
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of proven experience as Production Manager (or similar role) in bakery, pastry, or food manufacturing.
- Strong leadership skills, with experience managing large teams in manual-labor, process-heavy environments.
- Demonstrated success in cost management, waste reduction, and process improvement.
- Excellent analytical and numerical skills; highly data-driven in decision-making.
- Good command of English (spoken and written).
- Strong problem-solving skills, resilience, and adaptability to a fast-paced production environment.
