Job Description

  • Sales and Promotion: Achieve and exceed sales targets for assigned products and territories. This involves regular visits to hospitals, clinics, and pharmacies to present product information and encourage prescription.
  • Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong, credible relationships with key opinion leaders, healthcare professionals, and decision-makers within the assigned territory.
  • Market Intelligence: Continuously monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments. Provide timely and accurate feedback to the marketing and management teams to inform strategic decisions.
  • Product Expertise: Maintain a high level of knowledge about the company's products, therapeutic areas, and relevant diseases. Be able to effectively answer technical and clinical questions from healthcare professionals.
  • Territory Planning: Strategically plan and manage the sales territory to maximize call frequency and impact, ensuring a high return on investment.
  • Reporting and Administration: Accurately and punctually submit sales reports, expense reports, and other administrative documents as required.

Requirements

  • Education: A bachelor's degree in a medical, pharmaceutical, or life sciences field is often preferred, but a degree in business or marketing with relevant experience may also be considered.
  • Experience: Previous experience in pharmaceutical sales or a related field is a strong advantage. Experience in a specific therapeutic area may be required for certain roles.
  • Skills:
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong presentation skills.
  • Results-oriented with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
  • Ability to work independently and manage a territory effectively.
  • High level of integrity and ethical conduct.
