Job Description

Bantianyao Group is Asia’s second-largest catering conglomerate operating 10 brands with over 2,000 direct stores globally.

Product Development & Innovation

  • Research food trends, customer insights, competitor menus, and market opportunities.
  • Develop new menu items and seasonal offerings aligned with brand strategy.
  • Improve existing products based on sales data, customer feedback, and operational efficiency.
  • Conduct tasting sessions, quality evaluations, and recipe standardization.

Cost & Quality Management

  • Work with Supply Chain to source ingredients at optimal cost.
  • Ensure product costs align with target food cost and margin (COGS).
  • Monitor product quality consistency across all stores.
  • Create and maintain Standard Recipe Cards (SRC) and SOPs.

Operational Implementation

  • Collaborate with Operations to train staff on new products.
  • Ensure cooking methods, portioning, and presentation are consistent.
  • Conduct store visits to audit product execution and gather feedback.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner with Marketing for product launch campaigns.
  • Align with Finance on pricing strategy, cost projections, and profitability.
  • Cooperate with Supply Chain for forecasting and inventory planning.

Performance Tracking

  • Monitor sales performance of each product.
  • Run A/B testing for new dishes before full rollout.
  • Provide monthly product performance reports and recommendations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in F&B Management, Business, Culinary Arts, or related fields.
  • 3–5 years of experience in product development in F&B, restaurant chains, or food manufacturing.
  • Strong understanding of food cost control and menu engineering.
  • Creativity with a data-driven mindset.
  • Good communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Basic culinary knowledge preferred.
