Job Description

1 General Description

This position is mainly responsible for declaring Customs Declaration Sheet (CDS) and coordinating with the Implant team to handle outbound shipments smoothly. Other tasks will be assigned by the supervisor / manager.

2 Specific Accountabilities

Customs Operations

  • Handle all outbound shipments in accordance with established processes.
  • Coordinate with the Pricing Team to obtain quotations and send them to non-contracted carriers for outbound shipments under EXW terms.
  • Receive bookings from the Customer Service Team and shipping documents from the Implant/Customer Team; cross-check all documents for discrepancies and raise concerns before processing CDS.
  • Prepare daily reports on outbound shipments to ensure all have completed CDS.
  • Compile the CDS package (Checklist form, CDS, HAWB/BL, Commercial Invoice, Packing List, and other relevant documents) for each outbound shipment.
  • Upload required documents to the Customs V5 system in compliance with customs regulations and deadlines.
  • Use the internal tool to upload and verify the CDS package is properly archived in the system; re-upload if missing.
  • Submit electronic documents to the VNACCS system for each outbound shipment.
  • Work night shifts per customer schedule (if any).
  • Handle domestic trucking and scrapping shipments.
  • Rotating 1 day off per week (pre-aligned), with duty on Sunday of that week.
  • On-duty shifts during public holidays are rotated among team members.
  • Collaborate with the team to identify root causes of incorrect CDS entries.
  • Support functional teams and business units to ensure compliance with customs and related regulations.
  • Ensure adherence to national subcontractor management policies and procedures.
  • Conduct internal reviews to ensure compliance with global and local standards, as well as customer SOPs, particularly concerning customs brokerage and tax-related matters at the BU level.
  • Perform other tasks as assigned by the supervisor / manager.

On-site work:

  • Work together with the on-site staff to palletize cargo and load it onto the truck using a forklift.
  • Coordinate with the trucking team to arrange trucks as required.
  • Ensure that trucks are only allowed to leave the factory after customs declaration is fully completed.

HSSE

  • Ensure that HSSE guidance is followed by subcontractors
  • Understand the HSSE policy of the company
  • Follow the HSSE policy of the company
  • Report near misses to Supervisor / Manager

Requirements

1 Skills Required

  • Good English communication both speaking and writing.
  • Accuracy, proactive, teamwork.
  • Good computer skills (Word / Excel / Outlook / VNACCS system skills).
  • Hard-working, ability to work independently, be ready to work overtime and under high pressure.

2 Experience and Qualifications

  • The male will be preferred for this position because of the night shift.
  • Experience in the same role and familiar with VNACCS system is preferable.
  • University graduate major in foreign trade, economics or logistic & supply chain, import & Export, transportation
  • A minimum of 1 year of experience in forwarding/logistics companies is preferable.
  • The fresher will be trained to meet the work requirements.
