Job Description

  • Source for fabric and trims that can meet or exceed customer requirements and expectations for the customer through Sourcing Teams or customer appointed suppliers.
  • Negotiation with relevant parties to obtain the best price / product properties / lead time.
  • Provide accurate costing through the system
  • Communicate with the customer directly for information and clarification where needed.
  • Negotiates with customers (e.g. product details, delivery dates, etc.) as needed
  • Arrange fabric swatches / trim samples for customer approval and arrange for samples for sample making where necessary.

Requirements

  • At least 3 years’ experience as a merchandiser in the garment/textile industry is preferred.
  • Fluent in English.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Good understanding of the production process, sampling, costing, and order follow-up.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Responsible, organized, and proactive.
