Job Description

1. Merchandise Planning & Development

Collaborate with creative, artist, and marketing teams to define merchandise concepts aligned with brand and campaign direction.

Build merchandise production plans, including budgeting, costing, pricing, MOQ, margin targets, and production timelines.

Oversee product sampling, packaging design, and prototype approvals to ensure alignment with creative direction.

2. Vendor Sourcing & Management

Identify, evaluate, and manage vendors for printing, apparel, packaging, and specialty goods production.

Negotiate pricing, production timelines, and quality standards.

Coordinate with Finance and Legal teams for contracts, purchase orders, and payment processes.

3. Production & Quality Control

Supervise the full production process, from sampling to mass production and delivery.

Establish and enforce QC checklists, conduct inspections, and manage defect reports.

Ensure all products meet internal quality, safety, and brand requirements.

Deliver final post-production reports on cost, efficiency, and feedback.

4. Logistics & Fulfillment

Work closely with logistics and fulfillment partners to ensure timely and accurate delivery for online and offline sales.

Support pre-order and limited edition sales operations, including packaging, shipping, and pick-up experiences.

Track inventory, cost performance, and fan feedback for continuous improvement.

5. Cross-Functional Collaboration

Coordinate with internal teams across MMusic — including Creative, Artist Management, Brand Partnership, and Operations — to ensure merchandise aligns with overall brand and business objectives.

Maintain consistent creative storytelling and brand integrity across all product lines.

Requirements

5–8+ years of experience in merchandise production, product development, or manufacturing management, ideally within entertainment, lifestyle, or fashion industries.

Strong understanding of materials, printing, packaging, and production processes.

Excellent project management and vendor negotiation skills.

Financial literacy for costing, budgeting, and margin management.

High attention to detail, aesthetics, and quality control.

Strong communication and coordination skills across creative and operational teams.

Passion for culture, design, and how fans connect through products.
