Job Description

1. Manage development projects by coordinating with cross-functional teams to ensure timely

achievement of project milestones, customer sample delivery, and Time-to-Market (TTM)

targets.

2. Collaborate closely with Design Engineering teams located in Toronto (Canada), Harrisburg

(USA), and Shenzhen (China) to support various new product development activities.

3. Participate in design reviews and provide constructive feedback to Design Engineers regarding

component and connector assembly designs, focusing on Design for Manufacturability (DFM).

4. Conduct preliminary testing and analysis in the NPI laboratory for connectors, prepare test

reports, and provide observations and improvement suggestions based on test results.

5. Collect and analyze process data, provide recommendations to optimize assembly processes,

and offer improvement suggestions to Manufacturing Engineering (ME) to enhance assembly

yield.

6. Support and coordinate qualification testing and customer sample builds through NPI personnel.

7. Oversee the transfer of products to Operations/Production upon completion of all development

documentation and qualification activities.

Requirements

1. Education: Bachelor’s degree or above.

2. Experience: 5–8 years of relevant experience in Engineering (Manufacturing, Materials, or

Mechanical).

3. Technical Knowledge: Fundamental understanding of manufacturing processes, including

component manufacturing, assembly, and application use.

4. Analytical Skills: Strong problem-solving ability, capable of using data to analyze process and

product issues through tools such as SPC and Six Sigma methodologies.

5. Industry Experience: Experience in high-speed stamping, injection molding, precious metal

plating, or a manufacturing connector background is preferred.

6. Communication Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

7. Computer Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

8. Design Software: Experience with SolidWorks and CAD software
