Job Description
Android Development
• Develop u-boot/Android kernel/Android userland for devices, based on the existed AOSP, CIP kernel and Linux BSP.
• Porting/Developing Codec library and Graphic library from partner or internal teams.
• Enhance the Android GUI performance.
• Perform the System Test / VTS / CTS for Android BSP.
• Analyze CTS/VTS failed cases to pass Google Certificate.
• Apply security bug-fixes and Upgrading AOSP security bug-fixes- Innovate by improving Android BSP and developing new features for new Android.
• Understand Android platform architecture and Android compatibility requirements.
• Write sharing documentation.
Android Demo Development
• Develop Proof of Concept to demonstrate functions and performance.
• Verify solution package.
• Conduct world wide customers support (Asia, Europe, America).
Requirements
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Proficient in programming languages and tools: C/C++, Java, Bash Script, Git.
• Hands-on experience with Driver and BSP development for Linux/Android platforms.
• Understanding of Android framework.
• Experience in developing modules for Camera/Display or expertise in u-boot development is an advantage.
• Familiarity with Android application development is a plus.
• Ability to read and analyze hardware manuals and schematics effectively.
• Excellent teamwork and collaboration skills.
• A creative mindset with the ability to propose innovative solutions.
