JOB OVERVIEW

• We are seeking an experienced Data Engineer with strong expertise in Python and SQL to design, build, and optimize scalable data solutions. The role involves developing robust data pipelines, working with large datasets, and ensuring performance, reliability, and security of enterprise data platforms.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL/ELT workflows using Python and SQL

• Build and optimize data models for analytics and reporting

• Collaborate with business stakeholders, data analysts, and data scientists to gather and translate data requirements

• Ensure data quality, integrity, and security through effective monitoring and validation

• Optimize database performance and query execution across large datasets

• Integrate data from multiple sources, including APIs, databases, and cloud platforms

• Document data workflows, architecture, and technical solutions

• Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Business Analytics, IT, or related fields

• Minimum 3 years of experience in data engineering roles

• Strong proficiency in Python (data processing, automation, APIs)

• Strong SQL skills and experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQL Server, etc.)

• Solid understanding of data warehouse concepts, ETL/ELT pipelines, and data modeling techniques

• Experience with version control systems (Git)

• Good at both verbal and written English

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)

• Experience with Databricks is a strong advantage

• Salary range: up to $2500 gross
